Why five
A hundred contacts is a list. Five is a room. When a room only has five seats, the people in it are the point — and nobody is performing for an audience that is not there.
- No feed. Letters are the only thing that happens here.
- No presence. Nobody sees when you are online, or that you have not replied.
- No re-takes. A stumble stays in the letter. That is what makes it yours.
Sealed before it leaves
Every letter is encrypted with AES-256-GCM on the phone, and the key lives in the device keychain — not on a server. What the server holds is ciphertext it cannot open. Transcription runs on the device too.
No ads. No analytics SDK. No tracking. Delete your account, and your letters go with it.
